Mercy Hospital Washington in Missouri is hiring an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift in a 19-bed Critical Care Unit. The role requires 1 year of ICU experience, an active RN license (Missouri or compact), and ACLS/BLS certifications.

A sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 is offered, with generous benefits and additional shift pay. The unit includes 13 ICU beds and 6 Transitional Care beds, with opportunities for professional growth, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience required.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Missouri RN license or Compact State RN license accepted.
• Strong critical care, assessment, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification.
• Additional unit-specific certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
