Job summary

St. Mary's General Hospital in Passaic, NJ seeks a part-time Night Shift Registered Nurse to deliver ICU patient care. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, collaborate with physicians, and educate patients and families. Strong clinical skills, BLS/ACLS, and ICU experience preferred; BSN preferred. Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• ACLS certification required upon hire.
• Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital; CCRN preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care in the ICU using the nursing process.
• Direct and guide patient and family teaching.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
