Job summary

St. Mary’s General Hospital in Passaic, NJ, seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver safe patient care in the ICU setting. You will apply the nursing process, assess and implement care, and mentor nursing staff while maintaining privacy and high standards.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license required.
• BLS certification required upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification required upon hire and maintained.
• Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• CCRN certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital; CCU/ICU preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in the ICU.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing staff.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and study results.
