Job summary

Adventist Health in Los Angeles is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a staff position on nights. The RN will deliver coordinated nursing care in the ICU, supervise nursing staff, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Requirements include a state RN license, BSN preferred, and CPR/BLS with HLFS and NIHSS as part of facility standards. This is an ongoing, full-time position at Adventist Health White Memorial in the Boyle Heights area.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; RN licensure in state of practice required.
• CPR or BLS certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required by AH policy.
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required by AH policy.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to standards and nursing process.
• Supervises and directs activities of nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines.
• Participates in discharge planning to provide continuity of care.
• Delegates duties and coordinates tasks of healthcare team members.
