Job summary

Prime Healthcare is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care with a focus on collaboration and clinical excellence.

The RN will be responsible for patient care, utilizing advanced critical care skills, and practicing within the nursing process. The role requires a current RN license, relevant certifications, and experience in critical care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in an acute care hospital.
• Critical Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching.
• Communicate changes in patient’s clinical condition.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
