Job summary

Adventist Health Hanford seeks an ICU RN to provide coordinated nursing care for a patient or group, following established standards and the nursing process. You will supervise nursing staff, collaborate with the care team, and apply critical thinking to ensure optimal outcomes.

The role requires CA RN licensure, BLS/CPR, and ACLS; BSN preferred with acute care experience. Night shift, full-time position in Kings County near Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice required.
• BLS certification and CPR required from approved AH vendor.
• ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required.
• BSN preferred; acute care facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care per standards and nursing process.
• Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at multiple levels.
• Coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking and judgment.
• Contribute to discharge planning for continuity of care.
• Delegate and coordinate duties of the healthcare team.
