Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU – Intensive Care Unit. This is a staff position with a night shift (7 PM–7:30 AM) and alternate weekends for an ongoing assignment.

The RN will uphold ANA standards, participate in performance improvement activities, and provide expert patient care. Requirements include NYS RN license, 2 years ICU experience, BLS and infection control training; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing is required (BSN preferred).
• Two years of ICU RN experience is required.
• Valid New York State RN license and registration are required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) training is required.
• Infection Control training is required.
• Two-year commitment to critical care float pool position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standards of nursing practice as defined by ANA and applicable policies.
• Demonstrate leadership and participate in performance improvement/research activities.
• Provide direct patient care in the ICU and ensure high-quality outcomes.
