Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU Level I to join the Bronx, New York team. The position requires RN licensure in NY, ICU experience, BSN preferred, and availability for night shifts with a 7 PM to 7:30 AM schedule.

Qualifications

• New York State RN license and current registration in good standing.
• A BSN is preferred; an associate's degree is required.
• 1-2 years ICU experience is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) training is required.
• Infection control training and specialty certification are preferred.
• Strong English communication and data entry skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering patient care.
• Assess patient conditions and document care plans with interdisciplinary teams.
• Participate in performance improvement and research activities.
• Mentor and supervise associates; ensure adherence to standards of care.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain compliance with nursing policies.
