Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare in Missouri seeks an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill patients, using clinical judgment to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with a multidisciplinary team.

You will document meticulously, prioritize patient needs, and educate patients and families while supporting staff and student education in a professional learning environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing education program.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure appropriate for Missouri.
• Must maintain licenses, certifications, competencies, and continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of patient care services.
• Complete comprehensive admission assessments within established timeframes, identifying patient needs and documenting findings.
• Assess, monitor, and manage patient pain, implementing interventions and evaluating responses.
• Provide patient- and family-centered education and support to staff and students.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with policies and standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and positive outcomes.
