Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
• CCRN Certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provides direct patient care within the ICU scope and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
