Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced RN for ICU assignments in New York. The role requires a BSN or higher, an active RN license, and a minimum of 3 years ICU experience. ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification are mandatory, with CCRN/TNCC preferred.

Expect to float to SICU/IMCU as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Proficiency with CAM, CPOT and RASS assessments, Allscripts EMR, and hemodynamic monitoring is essential.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher degree from an accredited nursing school.
• RN license to practice in Client or by reciprocity.
• Minimum 3 years ICU experience; CCRN and TNCC preferred but not required.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.
• Experience with EVD and multiple medication drips; HeMosphere Flotrac experience essential.
• Proficient in CAM, CPOT and RASS assessments.
• Familiarity with Allscripts EMR.
• Adherence to isolation precautions and standard ICU procedures.
• Ability to manage trauma patients of varying severities.
• Must float to SICU/IMCU as needed; evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing in the ICU and SICU/IMCU as assigned.
• Manage multiple medication drips and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Perform patient assessments using CAM, CPOT, and RASS.
• Maintain strict isolation and infection control procedures.
