Diverse Lynx LLC places an RN in the Medical ICU at NYC's Metropolitan Hospital, Manhattan. The position runs 8 weeks with 7:00 PM–7:30 AM shifts and rotating weekends, including holidays.

Requirements include NY State RN licensure, 2 years of critical care, BLS and ACLS certifications. Competitive hourly pay ranges from $77 to $80, with benefits such as paid sick time and professional development.

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• ACLS certification (AHA) required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessment based on interview, exam, observation, and records.
• Document patient progress and update care plans accordingly.
• Discharge planning aligned with patient status and inter-departmental communication.
• Communicate information to patients based on their level of understanding.
• Support orientation of new staff as a preceptor and mentor.
• Serve as professional role model for students and volunteers.
• Assign patient care considering needs and staff skills.
• Coordinate care provision to meet priority patient needs.
