Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN licensure and CPR/BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Knowledge of nursing process, patient safety, and infection control practices

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care per nursing process and hospital policies
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings for the care team
• Administers medications, monitors for side effects, and communicates changes to physicians and nurses
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency
• Educates patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care
• Maintains infection control protocols and uses equipment safely and effectively
• Engages in performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes
• Performs CPR and code team participation as needed
