Job summary

PeaceHealth in Washington is hiring an ICU Registered Nurse for a full-time, 0.9 FTE night shift. The role offers a competitive hourly pay range of $45.78–$82.98, with potential hiring bonus and relocation assistance.

You will provide expert nursing care to critically ill patients, develop and adjust care plans, monitor status, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, document in the EHR, and participate in quality and safety initiatives while pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license.
• Current BLS certification upon hire.
• Minimum of one year of recent ICU experience within the last 36 months.
• Demonstrated competency in critical care nursing practice.
• ACLS within six months of hire.
• NIHSS within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to critically ill patients using evidence-based practices.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in clinical status.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently within the electronic health record.
• Delegate and coordinate care activities according to team members' competencies and scope of practice.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and infection prevention initiatives.
• Continue to develop your professional practice through ongoing education and career development opportunities.
