Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking a registered nurse for the Med/Neuro ICU. The unit provides high-acuity care for medical, neurological, and surgical patients in a recently renovated 20-bed space.

The role involves direct patient care, delegation to staff, and collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, with documentation of all care. At least 2 years of acute care experience and an NC or Multistate RN license are required.

Qualifications

• Will be working 72 hours per pay period as a staff RN for 12 weeks.
• Former FHC employees and current agency staff are also eligible to apply.
• At least 2 years recent acute care experience required. NC RN License or Multistate RN License required.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care and delegation of appropriate tasks.
• Communicate with the multi-disciplinary care team and document care.
• The Med/Neuro ICU is a recently renovated 20-bed unit providing high-acuity care to medical, neurological, and surgical patients.
