South Peninsula Hospital in Alaska is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a 22-bed acute care unit with ICU services. You will provide hands-on nursing care, develop care plans, and coordinate with physicians and staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.

The role requires an Alaska RN license, BLS/ACLS current, and PALS within 6 months. Prior acute care experience is preferred; strong communication and leadership skills are essential for collaboration and patient advocacy.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with the State of Alaska.
• BLS and ACLS certifications current.
• PALS required within 6 months (OB/ICU roles may have specialty certs).
• At least 1 year of acute care/medical-surgical experience or willingness to train.

Responsabilités

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process and evidence-based practices.
• Develop and revise patient care plans based on ongoing assessment and input.
• Perform admissions, skin assessments, and regular charting of patient conditions.
