Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• (RN) Registered Nurse with appropriate state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per department standards.
• Document care in the patient record accurately and promptly.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, medications and follow-up.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes and safe care.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to meet quality measures.
