Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital in Summerville, SC is seeking an experienced RN ICU to deliver patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team. You will apply the nursing model and coordinate with physicians and staff to shape treatment plans and ensure timely, compassionate care.

Responsibilities include teaching patients and families, documenting care, and participating in quality initiatives to elevate patient outcomes and support the hospital's mission and values.

Qualifications

• RN license required and current in the state.
• ACLS must be completed within 90 days of start date.
• BLS must be completed within 30 days of start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale must be completed within 90 days of start date.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
• Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Teaches patients/families/caregivers about condition, status, treatment plan, medications and follow-up measures.
• Educates on non-medicinal follow-up measures and healthy lifestyle changes.
• Coordinates care with a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery.
