Job summary

Qualifications

• Has completed the basic professional curricula of a nursing program as approved by a state board and holds a diploma or degree.
• Valid RN license in Oklahoma or multi-state license.
• 0–6 months related nursing experience welcomed.
• Knowledge of disease state management, bio-psychosocial model and clinical pathways.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Documents steps of the nursing process with appropriate terminology.
• Collaborates with other disciplines and supports unit/hospital goals.
• Facilitates discharge planning and patient education tailored to age and culture.
