Job summary

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an acute care setting. You will coordinate with medical providers and care teams to apply established nursing models and ensure safe, compassionate patient care.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, 1+ years of acute care experience, and ongoing certification updates (NIH Stroke Scale, BCLS, ACLS, PALS) within designated timelines.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required; compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license after relocation.
• 1+ years RN experience in acute care preferred.
• RN Diploma or Associate Degree; BSN preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start.
• ACLS Provider card required within 6 months of employment start.
• PALS certification or instructor required within 6 months of employment start.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with department requirements and practice standards.
• Document care administration promptly and thoroughly in the patient medical record.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, status, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
• Promote healthy lifestyle changes and self-management planning with patients and families.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize care and improve quality measures.

Skills

Florida RN license

BCLS/Basic Life Support
