Job summary

This role requires Florida RN licensure (or multi-state compact) and a commitment to meeting certification timelines (NIH Stroke Scale, BCLS, ACLS, PALS) within onboarding periods to support uninterrupted

Qualifications

• Florida RN license (or approved multistate license) required.
• 1+ years RN experience in an acute care environment preferred.
• Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree, BSN preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or instructor must be obtained within 30 days of start.
• ACLS Provider issued card required within 6 months of employment start date.
• PALS Provider issued card required within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes in status.
• Perform procedures or actions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document care administration in the patient record in a timely, thorough manner.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
