Job summary

Corona Regional Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its ICU/Step-Down unit. Reporting to the Director of Critical Care Services, you will provide skilled adult and geriatric patient care using the nursing process and ensure high standards of practice.

Qualifications

• One year ICU/StepDown/PCU experience preferred.
• Current California RN license required.
• Basic Arrhythmia Certificate or 12-Lead EKG Certificate preferred; ACLS required within 90 days of start date.
• Current BLS (CPR) required; CCRN preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification within 90 days of Hire required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the accountability of all aspects of adult and geriatric patient care utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Ensure optimal patient outcomes in the ICU and supervise all categories of nursing personnel.
• Maintain standards of nursing practice and support a safe and supportive environment for patients and families.

Skills

ICU/StepDown/PCU experience

Education

California RN license
