Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Associate’s Degree Nursing
• Minimum Experience: 1 year Acute care experience Preferred
• Current RN experience in assigned area of Nursing
• A registered nurse with current RN experience in the specific service or department.

Responsibilities

• Accountable to the unit Manager and/or the Director of the department.
• Adherence to identified nursing standards of practice.
• Annually demonstrates competence in critical behaviors for assigned area.
• Displays professional commitment and teamwork within the unit.
• IV therapy competency and medication administration knowledge.
• Plan, direct, implement and evaluate patient care; coordinate with licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Participate in organization-wide Performance Improvement activities.
• Demonstrates IRAISE values in professional and patient care interactions.
