Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the ICU at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. The role covers Eve/Night shifts (7:15 pm–7:15 am) with weekend and holiday rotation, and involves caring for busy orthopedic, pulmonary, bariatric patients, plus CCU support.

Responsibilities include coordinating nursing care, teaching patients and families, and collaborating with the care team to maintain high practice standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• RN Experience is preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or have an approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients and supervise care delivery.
• Provide patient and family teaching and support.
• Collaborate with ancillary nursing and other patient team members.
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice within the unit.
