Job summary

City of Hope is seeking a Registered Nurse for ICU, full‑time days shift (7a–7p) with a $10k sign‑on bonus. This role emphasizes holistic patient assessment, therapeutic interventions, and education, within a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will hold a Georgia RN license (BSN preferred or in progress), current BLS and ACLS, and 1–3 years of bedside RN experience, with oncology/ICU exposure preferred. Equal opportunity employer offering a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia State Registered Nurse License required.
• BSN required or enrolled within 6 months of hire and BSN completed within three years from hire date.
• Current BLS required (Obtain AHA certificate within 30 days of hire)
• Current ACLS required (Obtain AHA certificate within 30 days of hire)
• 1-3 years RN bedside care experience preferred
• Oncology experience preferred
• Recent ICU and/or step down preferred

Responsibilities

• Must be able to work FT Days, 7a-7p.
• Assessment and Communication: Continuously assesses patient needs and communicates changes to the team.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Plans, delivers, coordinates, and evaluates interventions.
• Patient/Family Education and Support: Provides education and support regarding disease and treatment.
• Compliance and Quality Improvement: Ensures policy compliance and participates in performance improvement.
• Medical History Documentation and Medication Management: Documents history, meds, and monitors outcomes.
