Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU at Texas Health HEB in Bedford, TX. This full-time, day-shift position offers 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts, with 7:00 am–7:00 pm times.

You will work in a fast-paced 18-bed ICU that provides trauma and neurosurgical care, with 24/7 intensivist coverage and opportunities for professional growth. We offer strong nursing leadership, education, and career development support.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing or nursing diploma required; BSN preferred.
• RN licensure upon hire required.
• CLIAFE must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
• BCLS before independent patient care; quarterly maintenance.
• ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• NIHSS within 60 days of hire.
• CPI within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of clinical nurse experience or RN residency completed required.
• Current ICU experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans the care of the patient.
• Intervenes as appropriate.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
• Incorporates age-specific safety/infection control measures.
• Initiates information sharing for patient and family.
