Qualifications

Active RN license in Florida or eligible for licensure in Florida.

CPR/BLS certification required; CCNS, NEONATAL or NICU certs preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and communication.
Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
Evaluate care plan effectiveness and adjust to improve outcomes.
Ensure infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
Supervise and delegate care to ensure quality and efficiency.
Participate in ongoing professional development and performance improvement.
Respond promptly to code situations and stabilize patients.
