Job summary

MaineGeneral Health in Manchester, Maine is seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Inpatient ICU in the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta. The role provides direct care to critically ill adults, operating within NFP mission and organizational policies.

This 30-hour-per-week position on the day shift (7a–7p) includes weekend and holiday rotations, with a pattern of two 12-hour shifts one week and three 12-hour shifts the next.

Qualifications

• Active Maine RN licensure or ability to obtain in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans for critically ill adults.
• Collaborates across disciplines for patient care, transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support.
• Provides patient/family education tailored to age, culture, and condition.
• Delegates care to ancillary staff and may precept students and new hires.
