Job summary

Tampa General Hospital in Spring Hill, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU to deliver patient-focused care in a fast-paced unit. The role involves routine nursing duties, assessments, and collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The RN will plan, implement, and document care plans, educate patients and families, and participate in discharge planning as part of ongoing patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required; RN license in Florida or a compact state.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS and/or PALS preferred or required.
• NIHSS knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze the health status of patients in the assigned unit.
• Perform on-going assessments and document findings per policy.
• Plan and implement individualized plans of care with the patient and family.
• Coordinate care and communicate plans with the healthcare team.
