Ideal candidates have RN licensure in the state, CPR/BLS, ACLS, and preferably a BSN with acute care experience. Duties include data collection, care planning, and evaluating patient progress to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• CPR or BLS certification from AH policy is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• ACLS (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues.
• Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes.
• Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
• Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes.
• Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patient's situation.
