Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for intensive care unit responsibilities in a high-acuity environment. The role emphasizes continuous patient assessment, ventilator management, and collaborative care with the interdisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates will hold an RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, with 1–2 years in critical care or med-surg settings and a nursing degree (Assoc. or Bachelors).

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of critical care or med-surg nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required.
• CCRN certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs continuous assessment and monitoring of critically ill patients, including hemodynamic and ventilator management.
• Administers medications, titrates vasoactive drips, and manages complex treatment plans per physician orders.
• Responds to emergent changes in patient condition, including cardiac and respiratory arrest.
• Collaborates with physicians, respiratory therapy, and other disciplines on plan of care.
• Provides education and emotional support to patients and families during critical illness.
• Documents assessments, interventions, and patient response in the electronic medical record.
