Job summary

HCA HealthONE is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver patient-centered care in an intensive care setting in Aurora, CO. The role emphasizes collaboration with medical providers and a focus on evidence-based practices and patient outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license (Colorado DORA or Multistate), an ADN or RN Diploma, and BLS/ACLS certifications. ICU experience is strongly preferred, with a 6-month Telemetry/Stepdown/PCU background acceptable.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Colorado DORA or multistate nursing license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or RN Diploma.
• RN ICU acute hospital experience preferred; 6 months in Telemetry/Stepdown/PCU acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care per department scope and practice standards.
• Documents care in the patient record promptly and thoroughly.
• Educates patients and families about condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow-up steps.
• Promotes health through lifestyle education and self-management guidance.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to optimize recovery and outcomes.
