Job summary

HCA HealthONE Rose is seeking a Registered Nurse for ICU care, coordinating and delivering patient-centered, evidence-based nursing across the department. The RN will collaborate with providers to ensure high-quality outcomes and patient experience, following the Assess-Perform-Teach-Manage model and aligning with organizational values.

The role requires an RN license in Colorado (DORA or multi-state), an Associate Degree, and at least six months of ICU experience.

Qualifications

• RN ICU Acute Experience strongly desired, minimum 6 months.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN license Colorado DORA or Multistate license required.
• Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
• Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Teaches patients/families/caregivers about condition, status, treatment plan, medications and follow-up measures.
• Teaches non-medicinal follow-up measures, such as diet and exercise, for self-management.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, and deliver a holistic treatment plan.
