Job summary

HCA HealthONE in Denver, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse for ICU to coordinate and deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care with a multidisciplinary team. You will apply nursing models like Assess, Perform, Teach and Manage to ensure excellent clinical outcomes.

Requirements include at least 6 months of ICU experience, Colorado DORA (or multi‑state) license, ACLS and BLS within 30 days, and an Associate Degree in Nursing.

Qualifications

• ICU experience strongly preferred; minimum 6 months.
• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures and other nursing duties as ordered by medical providers and documents care in the medical record.
• Teaches patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up; translates medical terminology for understanding.
• Teaches about non-pharmacological follow-up measures, lifestyle changes, and self-management after discharge.
• Supports quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver a holistic patient treatment plan.
