Job summary

Covenant HealthCare in Michigan is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide leadership and clinical oversight across inpatient units. The role includes patient assessment, education, safety, and discharge planning to ensure exceptional, patient-centered care.

You will participate in high-acuity care, coordinate with physicians and care teams, and maintain accurate electronic records while upholding privacy and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from NLN accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse with current licensure in the State of Michigan.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS required within 1 year of hire or transfer.
• Attends unit conferences, in-service programs and continuing education activities to meet the organization’s expectations.
• Minimum of one year of acute care nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the organizations patient flow through policy compliance.
• Remains flexible for 24-hour staffing patterns in all inpatient units.
• Communicates with patients and families in a professional, therapeutic manner.
• Administers medications and maintains MAR including vasopressors and sedation.
• Leads Code Blue team and acts as ACLS RN in multiple roles.
• Performs bedside continuous renal replacement therapy and blood transfusions as needed.
• Documents care observations in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborates with all health care disciplines to ensure discharge readiness.
