Job summary

Mercy Health's St. Joseph Warren Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU (Critical Care) to deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment. You will assess patients, plan and implement care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

The role requires NCLEX/RN licensure in the state, with preferred ICU/Med-Surg experience and BLS/ACLS/PALS credentials. Schedule includes 36 hours per week with day and night shifts in Warren, OH.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred, not required).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS or ACLS preferred at hire; ACLS within 6 months of hire; PALS preferred in lieu of BLS/ACLS for pediatric units.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to plan patient care.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications safely and monitor patient responses.
• Adapt to rapidly changing patient conditions with clinical judgement.
• Other duties as assigned by unit leadership.
