Mass General Brigham is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at Massachusetts General Hospital. The MICU has 18 beds, serves complex cases, and emphasizes teamwork and patient-centered care. Rotating shifts, 36 hours weekly, with day/night rotation and weekends/holidays.

The role requires MA RN licensure; BSN preferred; 2+ years in med/surg/ICU favored. ACLS/CCRN preferred. Benefits include insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, MBTA pass, childcare

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN license is required.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• Minimum 2 years med/surg experience; ICU experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify treatment plans as indicated by patient responses.
