Job summary

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse for our ICU to provide expert, high-quality care in a high-acuity environment. You will collaborate with a supportive team to influence patient outcomes and participate in ongoing nursing initiatives.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of critically ill patients, plus educating patients and families on medications and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Must hold Florida RN license or compact licensure; active FL RN license within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of critically ill patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
