Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Medical ICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized patient care in a high-acuity setting. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive nursing care, educate families, and document care in the medical record with accuracy and timeliness.

Qualified candidates will hold an RN license with an Associate Degree or higher and obtain ACLS/BCLS within 30 days of starting.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN license/registration must be active.
• Associate Degree or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in the ICU per unit standards.
• Collaborates with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care.
• Documents nursing care in the patient’s medical record promptly and accurately.
• Educates patients and families about condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow-up steps.
• Supports continuous quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices.
