Job summary

Johns Hopkins Intrastaff is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse II for Acute Care/ICU who can work PRN with rotating 13-week assignments. You will provide evidence-based nursing care in alignment with Johns Hopkins policies for inpatients, outpatients, and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Maryland or a compact state.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based nursing care to inpatients, outpatients, families, community members, and employees in alignment with Johns Hopkins policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Coordinate and facilitate programs and clinical care activities while supporting quality, safety, and service excellence.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and provide direction to team members to help ensure consistent, high-quality patient outcomes.
• Deliver evidence-based nursing care using the nursing process and Johns Hopkins policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Facilitate and coordinate care programs for inpatients, outpatients, families, community members, and employees.
• Provide direction and oversight to other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support program initiatives and patient care goals.
• Foster a clinical environment that supports service excellence.
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition within an acute care setting.
• Support safe, coordinated care delivery across assigned patient populations and program areas.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and internal stakeholders to support care coordination.
