Travel ICU RN Job Details

• Location: Odessa, TX 79761 (West Texas healthcare jobs)
• Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 6330 - Intensive Care Unit 4
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:30 – 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (8/31/2025 – 11/30/2025)
  
  

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC or TCAR, NIH Stroke Scale
• 6 hours of Stroke education (can be provided if needed)
• EKG course completion (can be provided if needed)
• Willingness to float to Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Emergency Room (ER) for critical care holds
• Cerner electronic charting experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Must be able to work within a 50-mile radius rule (locals not accepted)

• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatment responses
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Float as needed to Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and ER units for critical care support
• Participate in ongoing nursing education and maintain required certifications
