Job summary

Pinnacle Hospital, Inc. in Crown Point, Indiana is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our patient care team on day shifts. This facility offers flexible staffing and low nurse-to-patient ratios to support quality care.

You will provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process—assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation—while upholding professional standards. Strong ICU experience and current Indiana RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State of Indiana
• One (1) or more years hospital staff nursing experience
• Recent experience in ICU
• Current Healthcare BLS and ACLS certification

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
• Establish a compassionate environment addressing physiological and psychological needs; closely monitor patient status under care.
• Observe patient conditions, document significant changes, and notify healthcare team as needed.
• Educate patient on procedures and treatments to gain cooperation and reduce apprehension.

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State of Indiana
  
• One (1) or more years hospital staff nursing experience
  
• Recent experience in ICU
• Current Healthcare BLS and ACLS certification
  

HIGHLY PREFERRED:

• Bachelor of Science degree in nursing (BSN)
  
• Two (2) or more years hospital staff nursing experience
  
• TB and IV certification (or willing to obtain within department guidelines)
