Qualifications

• 1.5 years of critical care experience required.
• Must have SC nursing license and active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Stable performance in teaching or community hospital settings preferred.
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (exemptions allowed).

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions.
• Monitor vital signs and operate advanced medical equipment.
• Administer medications and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient status and ensure safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation and infection control standards.

Role Overview

This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver compassionate care in high-pressure environments.

Requirements

• 1.5 years of experience
• COVID-19 Vaccine Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed
• Flu Vaccine Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
• MUST have strong Neuro experience
• Teaching Hospital Experience Preferred
• Community Hospital Experience Preferred
• LTAC Experience Preferred
• First Time Travelers Accepted – Experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
• SC License required
• EPIC Charting Proficiency Experience Required

Skills required

• Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmia, Management of dysrhythmia, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• IV therapy: Arterial line management, Central line care/management
• Medications: Continuous IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips
• Respiratory/Thoracic: BiPAP/CPAP management, Care of Ventilated Patient, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT)

Schedule

• Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
• Float: Required if needed
• Weekend Coverage: Required
