Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver critical life-support services across ICU and general units. You will supervise support staff, document care, and ensure billing accuracy while maintaining high safety standards.

The role requires graduation from an accredited RT program, MI license, NBRC registration, and the ability to work nights with a weekend rotation. Sign-on bonus eligible and full-time benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program.
• Licensure: Michigan Respiratory Therapist license & NBRC registration.
• New grads have 90 days to obtain NBRC registration and MI license.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and create individualized care plans with care team.
• Provide direct respiratory care on shift.
• Delegate tasks to support staff with clear instructions.
• Participate in bedside rounds and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Maintain standards and adhere to protocols and best practices.
• Calibrate and maintain respiratory equipment; document outcomes.
