• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program.
• NBRC registration and Michigan license required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers life-support, resuscitation, monitoring and gas therapy in ICUs.
• Performs invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures for ICU and general units.
• Maintains clinical expertise across HFHS units as assigned.
• Communicates with patients, staff and physicians regarding care needs.
• Documents all aspects of patient care accurately.
• Supervises, directs and delegates to respiratory therapists, externs and students.
• Completes accurate patient billing information.
