Job summary

The Queen's Health Systems in Hawaii is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide clinical care across ICU, ED, OR and inpatient areas, aligning care with evidence-based protocols and collaborating with the health care team.

You will perform a broad range of respiratory procedures, monitor patients, and support program improvement and research initiatives while maintaining licensure and continuing education requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Hawaii State license as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field preferred.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC.
• Current CPR certification at BLS level and ACLS.
• Current NRP certification; must obtain within 6 months if not certified upon hire.
• PALS certification preferred.
• Prior clinical experience in a critical care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes best practice in respiratory care through evidence-based protocols and team communication.
• Provides a broad spectrum of clinical procedures and monitoring in ICU, ED, OR, and other areas.
• Supports operations, program expansion, performance improvement and research.
