Job summary

Hilo Benioff Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver advanced respiratory care to a diverse patient population, including critically ill, pediatric, and neonatal patients. You will work independently while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from a CoARC or CAAHEP-accredited program or equivalent.
• Associate degree plus 2 years additional experience may be accepted with credentials.
• CRT or RRT credential may substitute for the bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and manage patients with respiratory disorders, including therapies and diagnostics.
• Initiate and monitor life support systems such as ventilators; manage airway care.
