You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, document thoroughly, and participate in ongoing quality and safety initiatives while maintaining regulatory compliance and patient safety

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diploma, Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree Nursing Program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license to practice in Georgia.
• American Heart Association BLS required within first week of orientation.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP certification if applicable within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manages the care of assigned ICU patients using nursing process.
• Delivers patient care per evidence-based guidelines and available resources.
• Reviews, evaluates, and acts on results of diagnostic tests.
• Administers medications according to hospital policy.
• Performs and documents standardized nursing assessments to identify needs.
• Develops a nursing diagnosis and a plan of care with goals and activities.
