Job summary

Valley View Medical Center is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time night shift in a smaller hospital setting that values collaboration and family-like culture. You will deliver planned care, monitor patients, and work with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient needs.

Self-scheduling and ongoing professional development are highlighted. Applicants should hold an RN license and an Associate's Degree; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license.
• Associate's Degree; BSN preferred from an accredited nursing program.
• BCLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration and other medical care activities.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, and referrals.
• Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and condition.
