Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC seeks an experienced RN for the 6 VP Progressive Adult ICU unit on nights. Responsibilities include assessing patients, planning and evaluating care, and administering medications as ordered by physicians.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred) with NC licensure or a compact license, and show strong leadership and teamwork in a high-acuity environment.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing required.
• Current NC RN licensure or Compact state licensure.
• ICU/Telemetry experience preferred; critical care readiness expected.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs based on assessments and conditions.
• Plan, organize, implement and evaluate patient care for the unit.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Maintain accurate and relevant records of patient care.
• Serve as charge nurse as assigned and lead team efforts.
